Job summary

Universal Store in Townsville is seeking an ambitious Assistant Store Manager to work closely with the Store Manager and drive the shop floor on a Sunday–Thursday roster. You will lead operations, coach the team, and ensure outstanding customer experiences while executing VM and promotional directives.

The role calls for retail leadership experience, a warm communicator with a strong sales focus, and a hands-on, detail-oriented approach within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in retail (Shift Supervisor / Assistant Store Manager).
• Strong sales focus with ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Warm, confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Strong operational understanding — VM, stock, store standards.
