Universal Store is seeking a driven Assistant Store Manager in Townsville to lead daily operations, coach a high-performing team, and ensure outstanding customer experiences. You will work closely with the Store Manager, implement VM standards, and drive sales growth while maintaining brand presentation and stock controls.

The role features a Sunday–Thursday roster, opportunities for career development, and a supportive team culture with strong staff discounts and training.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in retail (Shift Supervisor / Assistant Store Manager).
• Strong sales focus with ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Warm, confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Strong operational understanding — VM, stock, store standards.
• Flexible, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to brand presentation.
