Job summary

Universal Store is seeking a driven, results-oriented Assistant Store Manager for a full-time role in Queensland. You will work closely with the Store Manager, mirroring many managerial responsibilities, and operate on a Sunday–Thursday roster.

You will lead store operations, drive sales, coach the team, and ensure exceptional customer service while implementing VM directives and inventory insights. Join a supportive team focused on growth and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail environments.
• Experience as Shift Supervisor or Assistant Store Manager.
• Strong sales focus and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Operational understanding of VM, stock, and store standards.
• Flexible, hands-on and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and brand presentation.

This position works closely with the Store Manager and mirrors many Store Manager responsibilities, making it the perfect step ifyou’relooking to grow your retail leadership career.
