Australian Red Cross is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Malvern, South Australia. This casual role requires flexible availability with weekend work essential. You’ll lead from the floor, coach volunteers, and drive sales while delivering outstanding customer service.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll support daily operations and help build a warm, inclusive space for customers and volunteers. Pay from $29.45/hour plus casual loading and superannuation under the General Retail Industry

About the role

As our Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving the success of a Red Cross Store while helping create a warm, inclusive space for customers, volunteers, and the local community.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations and confidently steps into leadership when they’re away. You’ll lead from the floor, spending around 90% of your time engaging with customers, coaching volunteers, and ensuring the store looks exceptional. Your focus: drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and build a motivated, high performing volunteer team.
