Job summary

Australian Red Cross is seeking a Store Assistant for the Penrith store in New South Wales. This casual role requires flexible availability, including weekends, to support the day-to-day running of the store and assist with donations.

You will welcome customers, help lead volunteers, and maintain visual merchandising standards while delivering excellent service in a friendly, inclusive environment.

About the role

Bring your enthusiasm for helping people to one of Australia's most trusted organisations. As a Shop Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes customers, leads volunteers, and helps create a warm, inclusive environment in your local Red Cross Store. In this hands-on role, you’ll support the day to day running of the store by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and assisting with donations. You’ll work closely with the Shop Manager and lead volunteers to ensure the store is safe, organised, and ready for trade each day.

Further information

This role is covered by the General Retail Industry Award 2020, Level 3. Pay from $28.89 / hour + casual loading + superannuation, with access to salary packaging.
