Job summary

Australian Red Cross stores welcome customers and lead volunteers, helping create a warm, inclusive environment in-store. In this casual Store Assistant role you’ll deliver excellent service, assist with donations and merchandising, and support daily operations under the Store Manager’s guidance.

You’ll engage with customers, stay aware of fashion trends, and uphold safety standards. This casual position is based in St Marys with weekend work essential and flexible availability required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, sales or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

About the role

In this hands‑on role, you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of the store by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and assisting with donations. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager and lead volunteers to ensure the store is safe, organised, and ready for trade each day.
