Job summary

Bailey Nelson is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Chatswood store. You will lead the team, enhance the in-store customer journey from eye tests to frame selection and dispensing, and drive performance as part of a growing ANZ brand.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, staff coaching and delivering outstanding service. Mandarin is optional but advantageous, with a Sunday-Thursday roster and opportunities for internal promotion within a fast-expanding eyewear company.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or optics at a supervisor or management level.
• Strong focus on customer experience.
• Ability to develop and coach a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense.
• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance.
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable.
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service, every time.
