Job summary

T2 Tea in Melbourne is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager with daily store operations, lead a team, and manage stock and visual merchandising. You will coach staff to provide memorable customer experiences and help achieve sales targets.

In this hybrid role, you will lead in the Store Manager's absence, participate in training, and contribute to a welcoming, high-energy tea experience.

• Previous team leader or management experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day management of the retail store.
• Lead the team, visual merchandising, deliveries and stock management.
• Coach the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences across the store.
• Support the Store Manager to achieve budgeted sales and control store costs.
• Lead the store and team in the Store Manager's absence.
• Support training on customer service, product knowledge and operations.
• Regular Sunday work is required.

About the role

Assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day management of the retail store with leading the team, visual merchandising, managing deliveries and stock.

Coach the team to deliver exceptional experiences for our customer to shop seamlessly throughout the store.

Support the Store Manager to achieve budgeted sales and manage controllable costs for the store.

Lead the store and team in absence of a Store Manager on duty.

Support the training of the team in customer service, product knowledge and operational responsibilities.

Encourage development with the team by providing timely feedback.

Regular Sunday work is required for this role.

About you

Passionate and motivated to deliver results and will confidently support your manager and team.

Have great communication skills, strong time management and organisational skills.

Previous team leader, key holder or management experience is advantageous.
