Job summary

Chemist King Colonel Light Gardens is seeking a hands-on Retail Store Manager to lead a busy pharmacy-focused store in Adelaide. You will coach and develop a team, drive sales through merchandising and promotions, and ensure exceptional customer experiences every day.

This full-time role reports to the Store Manager and offers practical leadership in a fast-paced retail environment. You bring proven retail management experience, strong people skills, and a passion for service.

Assistant Retail Store Manager – Chemist King Colonel Light Gardens

Chemist King Colonel Light Gardens is looking for a hands-on, people-focused Retail Store Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. With high customer demand and strong sales volumes, this is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our existing part-time Store Manager, providing additional leadership, support and focus to help the store continue to thrive. You'll play an important role in driving store performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating a positive, high-performing workplace.

Key responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop the team, building a positive culture where people feel supported and motivated.

Deliver outstanding customer service, setting the standard for friendly, knowledgeable and engaging customer interactions.

Support daily store operations, including rostering, staffing and workflow management.

Drive sales and retail performance through effective merchandising, promotions and team engagement.

Maintain high standards across visual merchandising, stock management and store presentation.

Identify opportunities for improvement to enhance the customer experience, streamline operations and grow the business.

Lead from the front, working alongside the team on the shop floor and providing hands-on support in a busy retail environment.
