Anyday in Brisbane is seeking a service-led Assistant Restaurant Manager for Golden Avenue. This floor-first role places you at the heart of busy service, leading by example, setting the pace, and ensuring guests and team feel cared for from the moment they walk in.

You’ll bring calm energy during peak trade, uphold high standards of food, wine and venue presentation, and coach front-of-house staff. The role requires RSA, WHS compliance, rostering skills and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in an elevated, high-volume venue.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine and service standards.
• Calm, confident shift leader with service leadership.
• Roster planning and basic financial understanding.
• Experience coaching and developing front-of-house staff.
• RSA, WHS and food safety compliance knowledge.
• Passion for hospitality and wine.
• Available evenings, weekends and late-night trade.
• Valid RSA certificate.

Responsibilities

The Role

We’re looking for a service-led Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team at Golden Avenue. This is a genuinely floor-first role for someone who loves being in the thick of a busy service, leading by example, setting the pace, and making sure our guests and team feel cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

You’ll bring a calm, reassuring energy to peak trade while keeping standards sharp across food, wine, and venue presentation. Beyond running great shifts, you’ll play a key part in supporting our front-of-house team, building a positive shift culture, and keeping the energy high across the room.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a leadership role within an elevated, high-volume venue

Strong food, beverage and wine knowledge, with WSET Level 2 highly regarded

Confidence leading service as a calm and composed shift leader

Strong organisational and administrative capability, including rostering and financial understanding

Experience coaching, mentoring and developing front-of-house team members

Strong understanding of RSA, WHS and food safety requirements

Experience maintaining high operational, compliance and presentation standards

A genuine passion for hospitality, food and wine

Availability across evenings, weekends and late-night trade as required

Valid RSA Certificate required
