Job summary

Gough Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a Junior Property Manager to support a Senior Property Manager and a Property Coordinator, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of Property Management.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 12 months of real estate experience, COR, a valid driver's license, and a proactive attitude, offering training, mentoring, and clear career progression in a friendly Ashfield office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of real estate experience.
• Certificate of Registration (COR) is required.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable car.
• Ability to work in Sydney's Inner West.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rental applications and reference checks.
• Conduct open homes and property inspections.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders.
• Liaise with tenants, landlords and contractors.
• Complete ingoing and outgoing inspections.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Senior Property Manager.
• Assist with general Property Management administration.
• Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines.

The Role:

Working within a team of three, you will assist in managing a portfolio of approximately 400 properties, with responsibilities including:

• Assisting with rental applications and reference checks
• Conducting open homes and property inspections
• Coordinating maintenance requests and work orders
• Liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors
• Completing ingoing and outgoing inspections
• Providing day-to-day support to the Senior Property Manager
• Assisting with general Property Management administration
• Ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 12 months of experience within the real estate industry
• Certificate of Registration (COR)
• Valid driver's licence and reliable car
• Ideally based in or familiar with Sydney's Inner West
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
