Job summary

Amida Limited in Canberra is seeking an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to join a growing boutique PM consultancy. You will work on Retail, Commercial and Residential projects, from front end to delivery, with live site environments and varied procurement models.

2–7+ years' experience plus tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, construction management or similar.
• 2–7+ years' experience in client-side PM or head contractor roles is ideal.
• End-to-end project management skills from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of design consultants, construction contractors and other specialists.
• Contracts administration and claims management.
• Management of statutory approvals and design development processes.
• Exposure to various procurement models and contract types.
• Issues, risk and dispute management.
• Delivery of PM services to agreed scope, schedule and fee.
• Scope development and tender submissions.
• Maintain network and deliver outstanding services.
• Health and safety oversight during live construction.
• Program and construction management of project delivery.
• Management of site variations and design changes.
• Cost management and reporting.
