Amida Group seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join the Canberra team, delivering Retail, Commercial and Residential projects. The role suits someone from a head contractor or client-side PM background with strong client-facing skills and the ability to manage stakeholders.

You'll work across live sites, coordinate design development and procurement, and contribute to project controls, schedules and budget management in a dynamic boutique consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in civil engineering, construction management or similar.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of design consultants, construction contractors and other specialist consultants.
• Contracts administration and claims management.
• Management of statutory approval and design development processes.
• Exposure to various construction procurement models and contract types.
• Issues, risk and dispute management.
• Delivery of project management services to your client to agreed scope, schedule and fee budget.
• Preparing tender submissions.
• Develop and maintain strong network and deliver outstanding services.
• Managing regulatory approvals.
• Design co-ordination.
• Stakeholder management and liaison.
• Working in a “live” environment (the buildings remain open during construction).
• Health and safety.
• Program management.
• Construction management of project delivery.
• Management of site variations and design changes.
• Cost management.
