Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a proactive Second In Charge (2IC) at Maroubra Medical Centre on a fixed full-time 6‑month contract. You will support the Practice Manager with day-to-day operations and lead the reception team to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Strong customer service ethos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Familiarity with medical reception/admin procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager with the daily operations of the medical centre.
• Assist with leading, mentoring, and supporting the reception team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
• Manage patient bookings, enquiries, and front desk activities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures; complete administrative tasks as required.
• Build positive relationships with patients, practitioners, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements.
• Assist with staff onboarding, training, and performance support.
