ForHealth Group seeks an Assistant Practice Manager at Maroubra Medical Centre on a fixed full-time 6-month contract. You will support the Practice Manager with daily operations, lead the reception team, and ensure an exceptional patient experience. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will develop leadership skills while delivering outstanding patient care, with opportunities for training and development in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team leader experience.
• Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Confidence using computer systems, with Pracsoft or Best Practice experience highly regarded.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and ownership.
• Professional presentation and a positive, can-do approach.

Responsabilités

• Support the Practice Manager with the daily operations of the medical centre.
• Assist with leading, mentoring, and supporting the reception team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
• Manage patient bookings, enquiries, and front desk activities.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Complete administrative and reception tasks as required.
• Build positive relationships with patients, practitioners, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements.
• Assist with staff onboarding, training, and performance support.
