ForHealth Group in Maroubra, NSW, is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Practice Manager to join Maroubra Medical Centre on a fixed full-time 6-month contract. In this hands-on leadership role, you will support the Practice Manager with daily operations and help lead the reception team to ensure seamless patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team leader experience.
• Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Confidence using computer systems, with Pracsoft or Best Practice experience highly regarded.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and ownership.
• Professional presentation and a positive, can-do approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager with the daily operations of the medical centre.
• Assist with leading, mentoring, and supporting the reception team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
• Manage patient bookings, enquiries, and front desk activities.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Complete administrative and reception tasks as required.
• Build positive relationships with patients, practitioners, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements.
• Assist with staff onboarding, training, and performance support.
