Job summary

The Regal Inn Tenambit is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, on-shift leadership and guest service excellence in the Newcastle region. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive a high-performing team and uphold venue standards.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will recruit, train and mentor staff, manage rosters, resolve customer feedback and ensure a welcoming, professional atmosphere that supports the venue’s growth and reputation.

• Roster development and basic HR duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day venue operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Drive team culture, training, mentoring and performance management.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints and conflict resolution with professionalism.
• Prepare and manage rosters in line with business needs and approved templates.
