Job summary

291 on King in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to own hotel operations, lead a high-performing team and uphold premium service standards while driving strong financial performance. You will work with Directors to shape strategy and oversee budgeting, occupancy and CPOR.

You will coordinate front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and marketing efforts, ensuring compliance, guest satisfaction and continuous improvement across the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in hotel or management.
• Ability to lead teams and contractors; build positive workplace culture.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
• Knowledge of guest service standards, complaint handling and service recovery.
• Familiar with WHS compliance and quality systems.
• Proficient in hotel technology platforms (PMS, booking systems, EDMS).

• Oversee all hotel operations to ensure smooth, guest-focused service.
• Lead and support teams to deliver premium guest experiences.
• Ensure workforce planning and staff retention.
• Coordinate with Directors on operational strategies and growth.

• Implement marketing strategies via EDMS and social media.
