Job summary

291 on King in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to own hotel operations, lead a high-performing team and uphold premium service standards while driving strong financial performance. You will work with Directors to shape strategy and oversee budgeting, occupancy and CPOR.

You will coordinate front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and marketing efforts, ensuring compliance, guest satisfaction and continuous improvement across the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in hotel or management.
• Ability to lead teams and contractors; build positive workplace culture.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
• Knowledge of guest service standards, complaint handling and service recovery.
• Familiar with WHS compliance and quality systems.
• Proficient in hotel technology platforms (PMS, booking systems, EDMS).

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

Experience and Qualifications:

• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasts and business performance metrics;
• Solid understanding of guest service standards, complaint management and service recovery;
• Confident in compliance management, WHS standards and quality systems;
• Proficient in hotel technology platforms (PMS, booking systems, EDMS, etc.)
