Job summary

Tombo Den, a two-level restaurant and sake bar on Chapel Street, Windsor, Melbourne, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead the team during busy services. You will drive guest satisfaction, team development and operational standards under Head Chef Dan Chan's guidance.

Ideal candidates bring proven supervisory experience in a la carte settings, strong communication, and the ability to manage time, schedules and compliance while adapting to weekend and holiday rosters.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Manager or Supervisor in an a-la-carte restaurant.
• Strong crew leadership and staff development.
• Excellent guest service and guest-focused approach.
• Knowledge of restaurant compliance practices.
• Calm under pressure during peak service.
• Ability to build relationships and manage time.
• Experience with OpenTable or similar systems.
• Experience with time & attendance systems like Deputy.
• Excellent communication and presentation.
• Willing to work rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
