Hillside Hotel in Sydney's Hills District is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading a large hospitality venue. You will drive operational excellence, lead teams, and enhance guest experiences while contributing to the venue's commercial performance.

This leadership role offers the chance to shape the next chapter of Hillside Hotel within the Momento Hospitality Group and to collaborate closely with senior management on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar in hospitality.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of venue financial performance.
• Experience across food and beverage, gaming, functions and events.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and community-focused venues.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day leadership and management of the venue.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and achieving financial targets.
• Drive revenue growth across food and beverage, gaming, functions, and events.
• Lead, coach, and develop venue managers and team members.
• Foster a positive and engaged team culture.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service standards across all areas of the business.
• Oversee venue operations, compliance, and risk management requirements.
• Act as the venue leader in the General Manager's absence.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and business performance.
