Job summary

Hillside Hotel in Sydney's Hills District is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading a large hospitality venue. You will drive operational excellence, lead teams, and enhance guest experiences while contributing to the venue's commercial performance.

This leadership role offers the chance to shape the next chapter of Hillside Hotel within the Momento Hospitality Group and to collaborate closely with senior management on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar in hospitality.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of venue financial performance.
• Experience across food and beverage, gaming, functions and events.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

• Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, Venue Manager, or similar senior leadership role within a hospitality venue
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of venue financial performance
• Experience across food and beverage, gaming, functions, and events
• A proven ability to lead and motivate teams while maintaining high operational standards
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people development capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
