Qualifications

• Proven experience as a restaurant manager or similar role in restaurants or hotels.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards with budgeting and forecasting ability.
• Experience recruiting, training, and leading diverse teams.
• Commercial thinking to balance revenue, cost and risk factors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder buy-in abilities.
• Resilience and dependability under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operational leadership – manage day-to-day venue operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company standards
• Team management – recruit, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture
• Customer experience – deliver outstanding service, resolve feedback promptly, and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Financial management – develop and control budgets while maximising revenue
• Performance analysis – monitor financial performance to identify cost savings and revenue growth opportunities
• Pricing strategy – optimise menu and pricing strategies to maximise profitability
• Events and marketing – plan promotions and events, working with marketing to drive business growth
• Inventory oversight – manage stock levels and procurement of food, beverage, and supplies
• Vendor management – build supplier relationships and negotiate favourable contract terms
• Reporting – track KPIs and present performance insights to senior management
