Job summary

Goodstart Warragul Burke Street is seeking an Assistant Director to lead a dedicated centre team in delivering high-quality early learning and care. You will collaborate with the leadership team, engage with families, and contribute to the community while driving continuous improvement across operations.

The role focuses on supporting the Centre Director, mentoring staff, and stepping in for centre leadership when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent.
• Experience in centre leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence.
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.

Pay: $44.39 - $45.84 per hour, based on qualification and experience

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Warragul Burke Street, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. In this role, you will:
