Goodstart Woodbury Park on the Central Coast is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to lead a supportive centre team, building capabilities and driving continuous improvement in operations.

You will partner with the Centre Director to deliver high‑quality early learning and care, engage families, and foster strong community links. Join Australia’s largest not‑for‑profit early learning organisation and contribute to a thriving learning environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a centre leadership role or as Assistant Director.
• Strong people management and mentoring capabilities.
• Experience in early learning and care aligned with EYLF/essentials.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in leading the team to deliver high‑quality early learning and care.
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
• Be responsible for overall centre management in the Centre Director’s absence.
• Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Woodbury Park, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

About Goodstart Woodbury Park:

Located in Mardi on the Central Coast, Goodstart Woodbury Park is conveniently situated opposite Westfield Tuggerah. Our centre provides quality early learning and care for children aged six weeks to six years across three purposefully designed learning environments.
