Job summary

Seek Property Development is seeking an Assistant Development Manager to support the entire project lifecycle from concept to completion in Sydney. You will work with Development Managers to plan, schedule and budget projects, analyse developments, coordinate with architects and engineers, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree and 3–5 years in property development or construction, with strong organisational, communication and multitasking

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Development, Commerce or a related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in property development or construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes and regulations.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with project management software and tools.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and managing property development projects from concept to completion.
  • Support Development Managers in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Analyse developments and projects.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and collate minutes for PCG meetings.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts and permits.
  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies to support development.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities
