Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of apartment projects from planning through to construction and completion.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, councils and authorities to maintain project programme and approvals.
• Assist with budgets, feasibility, cashflows, cost reporting and project reporting.
• Coordinate design development, documentation and value-management initiatives.
• Monitor construction progress and assist with issue resolution and project coordination.
• Support the preparation and management of DAs, CCs and planning submissions.
• Prepare internal reports, analysis and briefing documents for senior leadership.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects progressing.
• Support marketing, sales coordination, purchaser communication and settlement processes where required.

Redpath Partners are exclusively partnering with an established Sydney developer to appoint an Assistant Development Manager to work closely with a Senior Development Manager and Development Director across a portfolio of high-quality build-to-sell apartment projects. This is a particularly strong opportunity for someone with solid Class 2 delivery experience to take on greater responsibility across projects currently progressing through delivery.

The role would suit experienced ADMs, as well as candidates from project management or construction backgrounds who have strong apartment delivery experience and are looking to make the move into development.

You’ll be involved across the development lifecycle, with a strong focus on coordinating and driving projects through construction and completion. It’s an opportunity to bring your existing delivery experience into a development environment while broadening your exposure across feasibility, planning, design, commercial and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

About You

We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds and are particularly interested in those with strong apartment delivery experience.

You may be an experienced Assistant Development Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Site Engineer or Project Engineer with apartment delivery experience and an interest in progressing into development.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong experience across the delivery of apartment projects
• A genuine interest in progressing your career within development
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Confidence working with consultants, contractors and broader project stakeholders
• A commercially minded, proactive and pragmatic approach
• Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, Planning, Engineering or a related discipline
