This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering a major residential and Build-to-Rent development, working across a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders, consultants and delivery partners.

The organisation has a strong long-term development pipeline and a clear commitment to delivering high-quality residential communities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take genuine ownership of projects and contribute to their success from early-stage development through to delivery.

The Company

The Role

This opportunity will suit an experienced Assistant Development Manager ready to step into a Development Manager role, or a client-side Project Manager looking to transition into development and take greater ownership of project outcomes.

  • Progress planning and development approvals;
  • Manage project budgets, programmes and commercial outcomes;
  • Identify, manage and resolve project risks and issues;
  • Coordinate design, procurement and delivery activities;
  • Manage relationships with consultants, government agencies and project partners;
  • Monitor project performance against key milestones and objectives; and
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the required time, cost, quality and commercial outcomes.

This is a genuine opportunity to step up, take ownership and influence project outcomes, while working alongside an experienced and highly regarded development team.

What We are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Property, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline;
  • 5+ years' experience in residential development and/or client-side project management;
  • Strong understanding of the property development lifecycle;
  • Experience across residential apartment and/or Build-to-Rent projects highly regarded;
  • Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving capability;
  • Proven ability to manage consultants and multidisciplinary project teams;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomes; and
  • A driven, collaborative and adaptable approach.
Why This Opportunity?
  • Join a financially secure and established property organisation;
  • Work across a significant residential and Build-to-Rent development pipeline;
  • Opportunity to step into a Development Manager position;
  • Gain exposure across the full development lifecycle;
  • Work alongside an experienced and highly regarded development team;
  • Strong long-term career progression and project exposure;
  • Flexible working arrangements; and
  • Be part of an organisation delivering meaningful residential development outcomes.
