YMCA Brisbane is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for the Wavell Heights Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll support the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, schools, and the local community, while ensuring adherence to the National Quality Framework and staff development.

Formación

• Diploma in Children's Services or related ECEC/Teaching qualification (or currently studying).
• Demonstrated experience in children's programming and administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

About the role

We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Wavell Heights Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part time basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.
