Job summary

The Y Australia is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to join the Chatswood Hills Outside School Hours Care team on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll support the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team to deliver safe, fun and enriching care for children.

You’ll work in a not-for-profit, community-focused organisation with strong values and opportunities for training, coaching and career progression within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or studying towards)
• Demonstrated experience in children’s programming and administration
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework

We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Chatswood Hills Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part time basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day-to‑day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.
