Job summary

YMCA Chatswood Hills Outside School Hours Care is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll support the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and guide a passionate team to deliver safe, fun, and enriching care for children.

Ideal applicants hold a Diploma in Children's Services or a related qualification, have experience in children's programming and administration, and demonstrate strong communication and customer service

Qualifications

• Diploma in Childrens Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or currently studying)
• Experience in children's programming and administration
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework

About The Role

We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Chatswood Hills Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part time basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day‑to‑day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.
