Job summary

YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care is seeking an Assistant Coordinator on a permanent part-time basis to support the Coordinator with daily operations, lead programming and guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun and enriching care for children.

You will engage with children, families and schools, maintain compliance, and contribute to staff development. A Diploma in Children’s Services or related qualification, experience in programming, and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC/Teaching qualification (or studying towards).
• Experience in children’s programming and administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Commitment to a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

• Assist with child-led, play-based programming.

We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part time basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.
