Job summary

Milestones Early Learning Roma 2, part of Affinity Education Group, is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager in Roma, Queensland. Join a supportive team and lead operations with a focus on quality outcomes for children, families and educators in a close-knit regional community.

You will partner with the Centre Manager to drive occupancy growth, ensure compliance, and mentor staff to deliver meaningful learning experiences in line with the Lifelong Learning Curriculum.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Experience in a leadership role within early childhood (Assistant Centre Manager or Centre Manager level).
• Strong understanding of compliance, quality standards, and operational performance.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in line with company policies, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
• Support the team to achieve Meeting or Exceeding outcomes under the National Quality Standards.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
• Contribute to occupancy growth through community engagement and local marketing initiatives.
• Mentor and inspire educators to deliver high-quality, meaningful learning experiences.
