Job summary

Milestones Early Learning Stretton, part of Affinity Education Group, seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Centre Manager to support a Centre Manager in delivering exceptional early education. You will mentor educators, build family partnerships and drive occupancy growth while maintaining high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

You will lead with a positive, solutions-focused style and work closely with the local community to support quality outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent.
• Experience leading or mentoring teams in an early childhood setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.

About the Role

As Assistant Centre Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to:

• Support the day-to-day operations of the centre
• Lead, coach and mentor educators to achieve high-quality outcomes
• Build strong and meaningful relationships with children, families and the local community
• Drive family engagement and support occupancy growth initiatives
• Support compliance with company policies, procedures and National Regulations
• Assist in achieving financial, operational and quality objectives

• Support the centre in meeting and exceeding the National Quality Standards

About You

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Previous leadership experience within an early childhood setting
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current Working with Children Check
• Passion for mentoring educators and developing high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, solutions-focused leadership style
