Job summary

Tweed Shire Council is hiring a Business System Analyst - Enterprise Asset Manager to shape the future of asset management systems. You will work across technology and business teams to drive improvements, support ERP initiatives, and deliver innovative solutions for managing community assets.

The role involves leading EAM system optimisation, gathering requirements, and delivering practical enhancements within a modern TechnologyOne platform.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or significant experience managing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
• Experience supporting and integrating business systems such as Asset Management, GIS and Electronic Content Management (ECM) platforms.
• Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to gather requirements and contribute to the implementation, enhancement and optimisation of software solutions.
• Proven ability to analyse data, develop reports and dashboards, and translate business needs into practical system improvements.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience providing training, support and professional advice to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively on complex projects, including the development of operational procedures, performance standards and change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and optimisation of EAM systems.
• Identify business requirements and deliver technology solutions across Council.
• Support transitions to a modern, integrated TechnologyOne platform.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants and project teams for data migration and enhancements.
• Champion best practice asset management processes and encourage adoption of new technologies.
• Provide expert advice and support strategic decision-making through asset information and systems.
