Job summary

Argyle Housing is seeking an Asset and Maintenance Manager to lead the asset management function and deliver strategic initiatives. You will manage asset plans, lead a team, and ensure high levels of client service delivery while engaging with clients and external stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of social housing, and the ability to work within the One Argyle framework and no wrong door approach. Bowral-based position with community housing focus.

Qualifications

• Property related qualification desirable
• Up to date knowledge of relevant housing legislation
• Strong people leadership experience with positive leadership behaviours
• Knowledge of social housing policies and procedures
• Demonstrate collaborative, cohesive interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to engage with team members at all levels of the organisation
• Ability to exercise sound judgement
• Sound understanding of social and community issues impacting on social and affordable housing clients
• Sound understanding of social and community housing or community services industry (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Deliver key strategic initiatives as identified within Argyle Housing's Strategic and Operational Plans
• Manage and implement asset management plans
• Lead and coach team members to ensure high levels of client service delivery
• Engage with clients, Argyle Housing team members and external stakeholders
• Support the principle of One Argyle and the no wrong door approach
