Job summary

Mission Australia Housing is seeking an Asset Officer in Kingswood, NSW. You will coordinate maintenance requests, inspect properties, and liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, quality housing and compliant outcomes.

You will monitor works, manage documentation, and support efficient property turnover while helping vulnerable people access stable homes and positive community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance, facilities, housing, asset management, or a similar coordination role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise maintenance issues and manage contractors effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritise tenant maintenance requests.
• Act as liaison between tenants, contractors and internal teams.
• Monitor maintenance work orders from start to finish, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Conduct property inspections and identify defects or compliance issues.
• Document asset records and scope maintenance/ improvements.
• Review contractor invoices and ensure value for money.
• Support property turnaround times and portfolio performance.
