Job summary

BGIS, Aviation Client is seeking an Asset Performance & Enhancement Manager to oversee asset data for a major airline’s facilities portfolio in Mascot, NSW. You will maintain alignment between client and BGIS asset databases, guide a small data team and resolve issues directly with operations and vendors.

The role is hands-on, detail-focused, and requires experience with CMMS platforms, asset hierarchies, and data reporting. On-site, permanent employment with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in industrial engineering.
• Extensive experience in data processing and data reporting.
• Extensive experience with asset management systems.
• Sound understanding of asset hierarchies and relationships.
• Experience working in large, complex operations.
• Strong attention to detail and a focused, methodical approach.
• Experience guiding and developing a small team.
• Degree in data management, computer science, asset management or a related discipline.
• Experience with Manhattan or similar CMMS platforms.
• Knowledge of Defence proprietary systems.
• Experience in aviation or other complex operational environments.
• Exposure to procurement or vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Keep the client and BGIS asset databases aligned and accurate.
• Review and validate asset data from multiple sources before processing changes.
• Make sure data processing and document management are accurate and timely.
• Guide, coach and support the asset data team, including quality checks on asset data.
• Coordinate field data audits, RFIs and asset data projects.
• Support vendors and operations teams with asset data queries and issues.
• Contribute to procurement activities where asset information is needed.
• Work with Operational Delivery, Contract Performance and Project teams to support asset performance.
• Prepare monthly reports and keep stakeholders informed.
• Identify and deliver improvements in how asset data is managed, tracked and reported.
