The ideal candidate has a Commercial Cookery qualification and at least 2 years of full-time kitchen experience in a bakery or similar setting, with the ability to work early mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Certificate III+ in Commercial Cookery is required.
• 2 years full-time cook/kitchen experience in a bakery or high-volume kitchen.
• Able to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong HACCP and hygiene knowledge is essential.
• Good physical stamina for long hours standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, measure, weigh and combine ingredients according to recipes.
• Cook and finish bakery items, manage baking and production tasks.
• Oversee packaging, labeling and presentation of finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment.
• Rotate stock and ensure FIFO procedures are followed.
