The Newlands Quarter is seeking an Experienced Baker to produce high-quality artisan breads at our Coburg North facility. You will handle mixing, fermentation, shaping and baking while maintaining safety and procedures. A strong focus on quality and consistency is essential as you work with the production team to meet daily targets.

Key responsibilities include batch documentation, continuous improvement, and applying traditional and modern baking techniques in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Proven experience in artisan bread production in a commercial setting.
• Strong understanding of fermentation, hydration and dough development.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and produce artisan bread to schedules and recipes.
• Mix doughs, monitor fermentation, hydration, proofing and shaping.
• Bake to meet quality, appearance and consistency standards.
• Maintain clean, organised, and efficient work area.
• Assist with process improvements and reduce waste.
• Record production data and report issues promptly.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and in line with SOPs.
