Job summary

Randstad Pty is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer for a 2-month assignment in Sydney CBD. This role supports invoicing, data management, reconciliations, and month-end tasks in a collaborative finance team. Flexible work arrangement allows 3–4 days WFH and near public transport.

The ideal candidate has an accounting background with 2+ years in AR, strong communication, and intermediate Excel skills. CIA/TechnologyOne exposure is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Accounting background required.
• 2+ years in AR or similar role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with CIA/TechnologyOne desirable but not mandatory.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate AR invoices accurately and timely.
• Navigate revenue systems to extract and analyse billing data.
• Process incoming payments and allocate funds.
• Perform daily and month-end reconciliations.
• Prepare AR journals for the general ledger.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Resolve billing discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support month-end reporting and ad-hoc administration.
• Other duties as required.
