Job summary

MARS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Sydney CBD finance team on a temporary contract. You will manage customer accounts, resolve payment issues and help maintain cash flow in a fast-paced environment.

This role suits someone with AR or credit control experience, strong communication skills and exposure to ERP systems, available to start immediately or on short notice. Located in Sydney CBD.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Receivable or Credit Control experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems.
• Available to commence immediately or within a short notice period.

Responsibilities

• Managing the Accounts Receivable function across a diverse customer base.
• Raising invoices and credit notes.
• Daily bank reconciliations and cash allocation.
• Proactively following up outstanding accounts.
• Maintaining debtor ledgers and resolving account discrepancies.
• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations.
• Supporting finance projects and process improvements where required.

MARS Recruitment is working with a reputable organisation based in Sydney CBD that is seeking a driven Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team on an initial temporary contract. This position is ideal for an experienced AR professional who enjoys managing customer accounts, resolving payment issues, and ensuring cash flow is maintained within a fast-paced environment.
