Job summary

Richard Lloyd Recruitment – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an AR Officer to cover a maternity-leave assignment in a global consumer services group. The six-month contract is based in Sydney CBD with the flexibility of up to three days working from home, allowing a stable handover and exposure to broader finance tasks within a small, collaborative team.

You will oversee core receivables processes, allocations, and reconciliations while contributing to BAS preparation and general ledger activity.

Qualifications

• Strong accounts receivable experience
• Experience with allocations and receipting
• Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations
• Exposure to BAS preparation
• Ability to work independently
• Team-oriented in a lean finance environment

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash allocations and receipting, ensuring payments match customer accounts
• Process customer refunds and prepare journals with supporting documentation
• Complete regular balance sheet reconciliations, including AMEX reconciliations
• Assist with BAS preparation by compiling information and supporting data
• Provide broader finance support across general ledger reconciliations and month-end tasks
