Job summary

Belgravia Leisure in Redcliffe, Queensland, is seeking an Aquatic Duty Manager to oversee safety, evacuation and daily centre operations in the absence of the Centre Manager, including café, aquatics, health club, sports programmes, private hires, events and customer service staff.

The role requires strong leadership, WHS knowledge, pool operations experience, and current First Aid (Level 2), CPR, Blue Card, National Police Check, Lifeguard and Pool Operations certificates;

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience and ability to inspire others.
• Solid knowledge of work health and safety guidelines, evacuation procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in pool operations and plant room management.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificate.
• Blue Card (Working with Children) and National Police Check clearance.
• Current Pool Lifeguard certificate and Pool Operations certificate.

Responsibilities

The Role

TheAquatic Duty Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee the safety, evacuation and operation of the entire centre in the absence of the Centre Manager and to direct day to day activities of the café, aquatics, health club, sports programmes, private hires, events and customer service staff.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others


• Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.


• Demonstrated experience of plant room management and Pool operations is essential


• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends


• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate


• Blue card - Working with Children's check and National Police Check clearance


• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate


• Current Pool Operations Certificate
