Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking a customer-focused front desk professional for the Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre. The role involves greeting customers, handling inquiries in person and over the phone, admissions, cash handling and ensuring member care in a high-volume environment.

You will join a friendly team, work a roster including weekends and public holidays, and bring a strong commitment to service excellence along with required certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing customer service in a high volume fast paced environment.
• Experience in a face-to-face and phone-based customer service role.
• A strong understanding of the principles of excellent customer service.
• Experience in cashiering and internal audit requirements.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• A current Resuscitation Certificate and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Willingness to work a roster with early start and late finish shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A current Working With Children Check for paid work (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers; manage the day-to-day operation of the front desk including direct customer service, telephone and electronic enquiries, admissions, cash handling and member care.
