Qualifications

• Able to show interest in painting and decorating.
• Eligible for an apprenticeship; AustralianCitizen, Permanent Resident or full work rights required.
• Committed to completing a 3–4 year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems.
• Handle painting and decorating materials.
• Use painting and decorating tools and equipment.
• Remove and replace doors and door and window components.
• Prepare surfaces for painting.
• Apply paint by brush and roller.
• Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray.

Preferred but can be negotiable:

Driver's licence and vehicle.
