Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, QLD, invites you to start a three-year culinary apprenticeship in early 2027. No prior experience needed, just a passion for food and a hunger to learn from top chefs while you gain hands-on experience across award-winning event catering.

You will work across large-scale banquets, galas, conferences, and bespoke dining, with access to masterclasses, industry field trips, and competitions to accelerate your professional development.

Qualifications

• Passion for culinary arts and long-term career in hospitality.
• Studying Hospitality or Kitchen Operations (advantageous).
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Hard-working and eager to learn.
• Creativity with flavours and ingredients.
• Willingness to make a chef career a lifestyle.

Responsabilités

• Gain hands-on experience across award-winning event catering, large banquets and gala dinners.
• Develop skills in hot and cold production and large-scale kitchen operations.
• Learn from experienced chefs and participate in masterclasses, field trips and culinary competitions.
• Support the team to deliver high-quality food across diverse cuisines.
