Job summary

Prime Build Pty Ltd in Victoria is hiring a 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Carpenter to join our on-site team. You’ll work alongside qualified carpenters, gaining hands-on experience on live builds while studying at TAFE.

Qualifications

• 2nd or 3rd year Carpentry apprenticeship in progress
• Mature, coachable and reliable with a safety-first mindset
• Own transport and licence
• Current White Card

Responsibilities

• Framing, formwork, and structural carpentry alongside qualified tradespeople
• Fit-out and finishing carpentry as skills progress
• Reading plans and applying what you learn at TAFE on real jobs
• Site set-up, including hoardings and exclusion zones
• Supporting the site administration and learning behind-the-scenes tasks on site
• General carpentry and handywork tasks as required
• Supporting the site manager and broader team with daily site tasks

• Comfortable with physical work in varying site conditions
• Open to working independently and off the tools
• Current White Card
• Own basic hand tools
• Own transport and licence
• Available for night shift, flexible hours
