Job summary

GJT Construction Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a 2nd Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our busy team. You will be exposed to carpentry across framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking, and will learn on the job from qualified tradespeople.

This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and capable of handling physically demanding work. You will need basic hand-tool knowledge and the flexibility to get to site.

Qualifications

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Very keen to learn.
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry.
• Ability to get to and from work independently.
• Preferred but not essential: Driver licence & Own car; A white card; Completed a pre-apprenticeship; Own tools.
