Job summary

Kascon in Canberra is seeking a site-based carpenter to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. You will undertake carpentry across commercial and residential projects, from start to finish.

This role offers hands-on training, job security, and opportunities to learn timber framing, formwork, cladding, fit-off, and cabinet making under supervision.

Applicants should have a valid drivers licence, White Card, and a willingness to learn; prior manual handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers licence.
• Prior experience in manual handling preferable.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).

• Undertake and learn all aspects of commercial and residential carpentry including timber framing, formwork, cladding installation, fix out/fit off as well as cabinet making and general building work.

You will be undertaking various carpentry and associated construction activities across the duration of a project from start to finish.

The role is site based in a permanent full-time capacity.

Duties & responsibilities

Undertake and learn all aspects of commercial and residential Carpentry including but not limited to timber framing, formwork, cladding installation, fix out/fit off as well as cabinet making and general building work.
